Start doing sit-ups and strengthen your core muscles which will help the nerve pain

I know a guy, 50ish and very fit, snapped one playing hoops. He couldn’t do a thing but lie around for a few weeks. Looking at several months of recovery.

Hearing his experience makes me afraid to do more than walk slowly.

Brother, pickleball is only two small leaps (with a decent hamstring) from shuffleboard.

Pulled a hamstring in the middle of a 220 yard dash. I thought I got struck by lightning. My track career was over in an instant. I remember my coach saying, "Don't feel bad, son, You won the first 100 yards of it".

Dude, Hope you feel better.

As luck (bad) would have it. I was playing racket ball with my son tonight, went to sprint for a ball and pretty sure I tore my calf muscle.

Find out in the morning when I visit my dr.

Getting old SUCKS!

Soon as this pain ramps down a little, I’m gonna start.

coughed so hard, I somehow inflamed my sciatic nerve

Had that happen years ago ….from sneezing.

F’n miserable. Previous comment about strengthening your abdomen is right. The abdominal wall goes, lots of other stuff goes with it.

Get well soon. We want you to get well.

The Dr probably tightened your hamstring up too much when he replaced your hip.

Playing pickleball is very physical. I know of people spraining or breaking their ankles and tearing their ACL's. These are people that play this regularly. All it takes is a wrong step and you are out. Some of them has hurt their elbows and shoulders also from falls.
