Just posting to say that I automatically downvote posts without even reading them. Why?

Saw this in the BabyTac car wash thread. He got 95% downvotes out of roughly 100 votes.
Been meaning to make a post like this because it happens to me by certain people and human psychology really interests me.
Why automatically downvote someones post just because of who they are?
What if the post has good information that is helpful? Or good advice?
By automatically downvoting a post because of who posted it, you are indicating the post has zero value to others just because of who posted it and not what was posted.
So even if you agree with the post but you automatically down vote it, aren’t you in conflict with yourself and by extension leading others incorrectly?
Have the maturity to not automatically down vote a post just because who posted it. Sure, most of the time I downvote someone in a Political thread because they are a socialist, but sometimes I upvote because they do make a good point sometimes. Rare but it does happen.
Downvote responsibly. It does affect others views and actions.

He may be, but he’s not a troll on every single post he makes.
If he says something along the lines of don’t spend more than you earn, that’s not a troll post. But he gets automatic downvotes.

I’m proud to say I have at least 2 or 3 down vote trolls who go around and downvote almost every post I make.
Of course they’re too chicken shite to ever identify themselves, much less actually spell out their specific beef with me.
I’m just happy to know I bother them with my mere existence.

BabyTac is a low grade troll who has a lame schtick that was not funny the first time, and is not funny the 500th time.
He constantly posts about how he is a “corporate executive” having to travel and how he goes to the gym, or how he is so much cooler than everyone else.
Every single one of his threads is atrocious. He should be barred from starting threads.
In contrast, other posters who make bad posts (SuperSaint, Oweo, TulaneLSU, etc.) have a degree of charm about them.

There are some people who use this board as their main source of importance in life. They desperately seek attention from this board, most on a daily basis. Whether that attention is good, or bad, they don't care. They just need the attention. Those people use the down vote button as a way to "show you." Just like the attention seeking, it gives them a sense of power. And they are probably severely lacking both in the life.
BUT.... there is a flip side to this. Both of these sides absolutely hate each other, but don't realize they are exactly the same. That group is the people who constantly worry about up and down votes. They call out people who downvote them, because they too tie a lot of their self worth in this board.
