You are young. Women tend not to be as scared of "baggage" like an ex-wife & kids (I am not one of those women
), so that makes for better odds. If you take care of yourself, are financially independent (not rich, just not living in mom's basement) you should be good. Also, don't be afraid of dating sites. Especially the pricier paid ones. I mean, what do you have to lose, and I don't mean that in a negative way. Look for "Events" in your city. Don't be afraid to attend alone. Look for people in groups who may have similar hobbies, if you have any. If you don't get one and find a group! Good luck. People need intimacy.

its probably a draw for some women. I certainly know two women that have remained in relationships, at least in part, to the children.
31 is a bit too young though to be able to rock the mid 30s desperate woman though, they generally look older. But co-ed sports would be a good idea. or the higher end dating sites.
or just ask for a set up or two. I know when we were in our early 30s, my wife would constantly ask me for guys to set up with her lonely friends.
