My sister lived just up the hill from the stadium (on the appropriately named Panoramic Way) in the mid-90s. The stadium had a big crack in one end zone and one side of it was about 6" higher than the other. Aside from that "minor" cosmetic flaw, it was structural sound.

I can’t imagine what that feels like

It's a weird sensation and if big enough it can be unsettling.

However, I was never close to the epicenter of one. The worst one that I experienced was one that hit Northridge, CA 1994 (I was living in Huntington Beach) and it shook us pretty good with some items falling. 6.7 Magnitude.

All the others I experienced growing up in Irvine was a moving sensation of rumbling and then swaying. Enough to get your attention, but then you just keep moving on.

Two in the same place of those magnitudes is not good at all.

Well it was old and limited in how big a quake it could handle, so they spent an enormous amount of money to rebuild the whole thing from scratch (except for the outer wall, preserved as a façade). They built a trick floating section over the fault that breaks away from the rest of the stadium.

This crack was in the facade.
What year was the renovation? I'm guessing it was before then.

I do recall reading that the big New Madrid quake in the early 1800's was strong enough to reroute the Mississippi

Less "reroute" and more "made the river literally reverse its goddamned direction and flow North for a while".

The New Madrid fault ain't no joke.

I was at a concert in LA when it hit. Sitting in balcony, I thought my legs gave out then realized what was happening. (First earthquake for me) lights swayed a little but it wasn't too bad.

The stadium was rebuilt in 2011. Cal played their 2011 home season at AT&T Park. Five games in a baseball stadium, plus one game at Candlestick Park.

I was living in HB in '99 for the Hector Mine 'quake. It was about 100 miles away, just east of Barstow. It was was a 7.1, I think. I had only lived there about a year.

It happened about 3 in the morning. The mini blinds rattling in the window case woke me up. The it felt like someone was pushing down on my mattress. After about 10 seconds, it dawned on me ... EARTHQUAKE!!!

I lived on Palm, close to where it meets Main. It's the old part of town with alleys and powerlines lines all over the place. I knelt on the bed so I could lift the blinds. Right then, there was a big blue flash from a transformer. I decided I should get out of the house. It was still shaking when I hit my front door. The weather head was in front of my house and the power line was all over the place. That seemed like a bad option so I stood in the doorway until it ended.

Probably 30 seconds of shaking. No more than 45. Felt like a lifetime! I'll take a hurricane anyday. I know it's coming 5 days in advance. You can have that earthquake shite.

Okay. This was about '96. I don't know if the crack was from the '87 (Loma Prieta?) Earthquake or some earlier quake.

I know of a crack that was bridged by a metal plate. I think it's still there! That's what's cool about preserving the outer wall, the character and history of the stadium are preserved.

It's in one of the end zones. I might be off when I said it was a 6" height difference, but its at least 2" or 3".

My Mother-in-law felt it in San Fernando Valley and my Sister-in-law felt it in Vegas. Mother-in-law didn't feel the one on the 4th.

I was laying on the sofa watching the Dodger game and shite started rolling...

First 15 seconds: “damn. That feels like an earthquake”
Next 15 seconds: “OH shite! THE HOUSE IS frickNING SHAKINING!!!”
Last 15 seconds: “Ok I think it’s almost over. I think?!”

Back to watching the game. The funny thing is that Dodger stadium is about 1.5 miles down the road from me and I was watching on Reddit stream which was on a bit of a delay so when it finished rocking here is started on the game broadcast. The players on the field hardly even noticed it but the guys in the booth and fans in the stands sure did.

It was my first legit earthquake since I’ve been living here. Best I can compare it to is bouncing around in bad turbulence during a flight on a large aircraft. Except you’re just laying on the sofa in your living room. Freaky shite for sure. It does leave you with a nauseous feeling. It messes with your equilibrium or something.
