#KCFD responding to multiple structure and outdoor fires in #Ridgecrest , units reporting multiple headers. #Earthquake

#Ridgecrest #earthquake - Kern ECC advising multiple calls coming in for reported structure fires & outside fires. E74 reporting smoke showing on the north side of town - nothing dispatched yet.

Any seismologists saying this was the big follow up or are they expecting more?

They better learn how to control that gravity wave generator before they break something with it.

Used to live in California. Would feel small ones ever so often, was in a movie theater once and was interesting to see the roof swaying.

I was sleeping during my first one and it woke me up. I had no idea what happened so I rolled over and went back to sleep because I was a little buzzed. Someone asked me the next day how was my first earthquake then it made sense.

They're saying yesterday was a foreshock to this one, same sequence. I haven't seen anything about what could come, if anything.

That Naval Air Station northest of town has some really weird roads, etc. that have nothing on most of them, and some other stuff on others.

There was just an Aftershock.

Also:
quote:

#Ridgecrest #earthquake - KCFD engines being pulled off medical runs, which are now ambulance-only responses. Large column of smoke showing, possibly 3-4 structure fire calls pending. 1 unit advising they have a double wide fully involved w/ exposures.

The one felt much stronger than yesterday. Yesterday’s we felt but just a few seconds. Just now the house was rolling for close to 20 seconds.

Yeah this one was bigger which means the other one was a pre-shock. Reminded me of when I was in Guam several years back.

Not an expert as this was my 2nd earthquake, but this is a different fault line. If the San Andreas shifts, things will get bad.
