I just dozed off and it woke me. Looks like I’ll be up awhile.

Same. I just turned the lights off and was watching a movie and then felt that bitch, albeit for like 6-10 seconds. Have lived in LA for 7 years and never knowingly felt an earthquake until now.

F' that shite. At least with hurricanes we have a week for a heads up.

Yeah it was pretty quick. Now I’m just laying here waiting for aftershocks. This is definitely the closest I’ve been to an epicenter. We’re in Eagle Rock, so really close.

Northridge 1994(a strong 6+?) bounced a few LSU friends out of their beds at 4:30 AM..

And one soon after into a job transfer to another state.

He said F this, I'm out.

Im in Brentwood as well. It was a decent rattler. Got my attention. Did you not feel the one July 4th last year? It was further away but way bigger at the epicenter and last over 20 seconds.

That one was much more disconcerting. It lasted almost 30 seconds I think. The one last night was quick, only 5 or 6 seconds.

Last year was the first one like that my sister felt since she moved out here. She did not like it at all. Last nights didn’t bother her as much. I didn’t notice any aftershocks. I went back to sleep pretty quick.

No, I was Miami Beach for the holiday weekend with my gf at the time. I mean I've slept through them many times (would find out the next day from people at work or the news), but never to the point that I realized that it was happening.
