When i lived in apartments when i was poor they would do inspections a coupke times a year, check appliances, AC unit, general cleanliness etc

Basically to make sure you arent trash smearing shite on walls

Lead inspectors? None of our inspections go down like that, because I don’t want to be accused of anything. I guess it could be possible though. How old is the complex?

It was built in the 1980s, I believe.

Was originally built by AMLI but is now owned by a family office out of Chicago. Managed by Greystar. Given the comps, I'd assume that we are more than likely due for a renovation.

They were from "Hoarding: Buried Alive" on TLC and are considering you and your apartment as a candidate for a future program.

Renovation planning or it’s being looked at by a buyer.

Both are a possibility, imo.

So much new construction going on all around us, they need a Reno to keep pace.

some third-party company, I assume. The maintenance guy let them in.

That's what they call an "inside job".

Better deals to be had then.

If my job were finally going to move everyone to the Plano office I would actually move further up the DNT.

Sounds like it could be phase I of a police sting operation.

Or, an asset manager at corporate wanted some updated info as they consider options for managing their investment.

I like where I'm at and our office is actually moving uptown from Preston Center in the next couple of years. I haven't really decided what I want to do when it comes time to buy, which is why I'm in an apartment.

Apparently you haven't been apartment hunting lately. I don't understand how they fill those complexes. I could buy a house for what it costs to rent a 1 BR apt that's not in the ghetto.

Yeah I 100% understand your position. They just offered me a new renewal here for only 10 bucks more a month. I guess once you get into the 1400's its hard to increase rent more

Some of these apartments going up are bringing in $1600-1900+ for a 1BR. That's crazy. Obviously I am poor because I'm not bringing in that kind of cash.

Nah 1435 baw and I hate paying that.

My apartment is nicer than some homes. 2 bdr 2 bath / 1 Office / Separate Dinning and Living.

Another room and I would have essentially a small home

What you live in Grapevine baw.
