Why would he quit? Sounds to me like the best part of his job is that you can work in BR for 6 mos-1 yr, then take the money and run, knowing you dont have to stay and then become immediately more appreciative of wherever you live, knowing that it;s at least not as bad as BR.

Honestly the outdoor board might be a solid source

Yeah. Here, you're just gonna get the smartasses responding.

Speaking of, when your womenfolk get tired of taking a shower in a phone booth, send 'em my way. I got garden tubs and nothing but love and kindness in my heart.

There's a pretty legit place right off the Livingston exit. Basically on the southeast corner of Hwy 63 and I-12. Place is gated and it's frigging huge. There are folks who park and live there for months and even years. The whole place is wired up with telecommunications, so you can get hsia/phone/cable hooked up to your camper, and the place is like a city unto itself.

Lakeside RV park on S. Frost road.
The daiquiri shop across the street makes a mean margarita.

Lol, the OT never disappoints me. I hit some good laughs and some solid information at the same time. I appreciate all of it. I’ll look into the places you’ve all mentioned.

The last three years I’ve been in western PA, eastern PA, Moundsville, WV and West Texas. I’m looking forward to only being a few hours from the house...shitty traffic and all! Lol

O&G..fracking? Half of the population of western PA is made up of guys from Louisiana I think.

My brother is a fitter but works on a crew that travels like that. I don’t envy that life one bit. Hope you enjoy being close to home for awhile. Get home when you can.

O&G pipeline construction, HSE.

I definitely intend to. It’s been a long time since I’ve been close enough to drive home after work on a Saturday. I’m looking forward to it.

Leave the camper at home and stay at El Cid. I guarantee when you’re an old man you’ll look back on this time as your most cherished memory.
