Just got bit by a spider. Am I going to die?

It must have been in my shoe. Bit me twice on top of foot. It itches like crazy. Google says elevate and put ointment on bite with cold compression. Obviously I can't do any of that cause I have to work. Is there any way to tell what type of spider bit you? I'm worried that it may be a brown recluse.

Is it red and circular around the bite marks? Is there a red line leaving from the circle? If yes to BOTH, then you should get it checked out. If no red line, just monitor it.

Depends. I was bit a few years ago on my face and my face blew up to size of a baseball. Went to the ER, they lanced it and drained what felt like buckets of pus.

Where is the spider? If it was in your shoe, wouldn't you it be mashed somewhere in there? You might be able to ballpark the type of spider.

I'm less interested in the spider bite and more interested in your face that is normally smaller than a baseball. Do you have a tiny body too or do you just have a tiny head on a normal body?
