Great dogs. I got this little dude 2 weeks ago, he's a standard though. Traded a farmer a pistol for him
Here's my mini. She's 40 pounds but shorter than a typical standard Aussie. Call them what you want, she's been a great dog. They're actually pushing for the "mini" to be renamed as "American Shepherd" now

I know it's not a recognized breed but I am not breeding or showing her. My last two Aussies were full size and under the circumstances I don't wan't a 50 LB dog so going the mini/toy route and still getting an Aussie works.
Just putting it out there. A lot of people don't know that.

They look great, with my luck my "mini" will weight 45. My first male black tri was almost 60 lbs and not fat, my last female was 45 to 50 lbs.
This is Lady that I lost a year and a half ago.

I know you're getting shite on in this thread, but you are correct.
90% of the public have no idea how many dogs end up getting euthanized every day because no one wants them.
Puppy breeders are only in it to make money.Period.
Sure, it's nice to have the cash to buy a pure breed, if that's what you have to have, but every mutt I've had has been just as as good, or better, than the pure breeds I have.
Disclosure: I've never paid a penny for any dog I got, they are all rescues. Not trying to pat myself on the back, I just try to do my part to help out the overpopulation of dogs.

So you work for a business that wants to lose money?

Mutts are great dogs I grew up with them. I am curious what makes the mutts better dogs than the pure breed you have owned and gotten for free since they are so readily available.
Also congrats on owning every breed of dog and imparting your vast knowledge on the differences between a pure bread and a mutt.
Trash this breeder please!

Did you pay $2000 for a dog?

Why would anyone care what I paid for a dog?

I will shut this shite down right now. My first two Aussies were bought from pet stores, the were incredibly awesome and I miss them both to this day, but they died well under the normal life span and I suspect from either being from or having puppy mill backgrounds. I am choosing to buy from a breeder that I know that isn't happening so baring unfortunate events I can love and enjoy for a longer period of time.

She is looking like a poor port, I will have to adapt to alt methods, but it will be fun.

I hope you don't have any biological children. There's plenty of them that need adopting. If not I guess you like seeing kids in group homes and starving to death in foreign countries.
