Just found out expecting twins - freaking out

After fighting unknown infertility for two years, wife and I just found out we are having twins in December. We have known she was pregnant for two weeks, but just had our first ultrasound. six weeks in exactly.
Kind of overwhelmed with the idea of double the costs of everything, double the furniture and equipment, etc.
Any of you have surprise twins? What worked during the pregnancy and immediately after that you would recommend form anecdotal experience? What definitely was a bad idea?

Congrats. If one of them is a boy have him start kicking a football off of a tee when he comes out. Trust me it'll pay off in the future. He will repay you when he's making money in the pros.

No. She was on eight rounds of Clomid. We just decided to take a month off and forget about it then look at IVF toward the summer. First month off of medication it happened when we tried to just forget about everything. We stopped tracking and everything.

Congratulations! I don't have twins but just remember that millions of people have been in the same situation. Just remember that it could have been triplets or quadruplets.

Ultrasound thought at first it was triplets and we really freaked out. Turns out it was just two. Thanks God. That would have been a real problem. Two is just a concern.

Twins are great.... Mine will be 2 soon. I can be rough at times, but it's worth it.

I'm a twin and the only thing I would like to ask is please please please do not dress your sons in sailer outfits no matter how much your wife thinks it's cute
