Pretty sure you're fricked if someone dies in the process of you committing a felony like buying drugs.

this, many states have put this on the books.

All Justin had to do was say his friends raped him. Being a rape victim, he has no responsibility for anything.

Damn that sucks. The dude seems like a good person that will never see the free world again. For a first time offender that didn't really do anything except drive a car and spend the rest of your life behind bars, it would be hard for me to want to live in that hell

I wish Justin would have told the cops two guys were heading to a grocery store with a rifle to rob the place, instead of fricking driving them while he held a 20 gauge

That is what I wish justin would have done

Yep.

Depending on how much they were buying, simply buying drugs isn't a felony.

You worded that like an idiot anyway. By what you said if I'm going to buy 2 grams of weed and the dealer is walking across the street to bring it to me and gets run over by a car and dies, then Im going to get life because he died while I was buying drugs which according to you is a felony.

Now if my friend talks me into calling my dealer and telling him to bring 2 grams of weed and then my friend tries to rob the dealer and the dealer shoots and kills my friend, then I'm going to get life because conspiring to commit armed robbery is a felony, not buying 2 grams of weed. Prosecutors won't even give a shite about the drugs at that point

I think everyone knew what I meant and your 2 paragraphs were unneeded drivel.

This I disagree with.

If he truly was in high school just driving his friends to buy pot, I would think he got completely fricked and it is ridiculous he will spend life in jail.

I was just stating that, from a legal perspective, someone getting shot = foreseeable result of a drug deal. I wasn't giving my opinion on the matter.

If nothing else is taken away from this sad and unfortunate story, it's this.

Some people are just hopeless filth that need to be deleted from your life.

It sucks because when you are young, you make stupid decisions and unfortunately he has to live with this one for the rest of his life.

Only one person shot him. Why did Lucas Roddy shoot Luke in the back? I don't know.

im sure alot of us have had to distance ourselves from a few of these. hell, I have one ex-buddy who is a heroine addict at this time. dude stole from one of our mutual friends, so we all dropped him. until he realizes he is trading friends for a buzz he isn't worth helping anymore

Once again, I wasn't giving my personal opinion on the matter. My, and your, opinion does not matter. The law is what it is, and (likely) every state in the country would hold that this was a "foreseeable" result of a drug deal.
