The point is that other Disney stars have said much worse, and nothing happened to them. Why? They have the correct political views.

So like when Fox News fired the polling guy that called AZ for Biden on election night, but still chooses to employ Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity?

Across the board, are conservative opinions protected the same as liberal opinions?

As I said before, I can’t imagine conservatives being in a position to complain these days. They’ve been way too tolerant of things, especially within these last 4 years. Conversely, when someone like Noah Cyrus gets called out for describing Candace Owens hair in a certain way, Noah deserves that too.

Only if you want to miss out on winter soldier/falcon, which I'm assuming is going to be awesome.

Hey look it's Captain Outlier.

Yes, it can happen on the right. However it happens on the left far, far more. And you damn well know it.

stop trying to downplay the absurdity of that

Maybe I'm giving him too much credit, but I assumed he was using "riot act" figuratively

I am definitely not following. You are expressing beliefs that differ from your employer in both scenarios

In one scenario, you are expressing beliefs directly opposed to the actual mission of the institution (Catholic School). Disney as far as I know is not a political firm, so political beliefs really don't have anything to do with the mission of the institution.

Oh yeah? I just called TLC and read them the Stamp Act of 1765.

Maybe if enough people call and do the same they'll finally come out with new episodes of Say Yes to the Dress.

I wouldn’t expect Ochsner to fire an employee for saying “I think hamburgers suck”

But I could see Port of Call firing someone for that.

But, to the macho man, it’s just two people having an opinion

The NFL taught us that you can have any radical left wing viewpoint and you are required to have a platform at work to share it.

I think he is saying conservatives are gutless pussies that allowed cancel culture to come after them

And he is right

Well, I also didn't mention he was part of a group of 16 people that were let go that sources said was a politically motivated move.

Once again, consistent application of this policy is the issue. Why do yall keep ignoring that?

Has what Pascal said brought negative attention Disney’s way? I didn’t even know he had said it. It seems like people in this thread are bringing it to them now, so may still have impact.

I’m trying to say who they fire should be up to them, it’s their business. If they want to fire Pascal I say go for it.

Yes

Seriously, the dishonesty is too much in this thread. I'm out.
