It's almost like you made your opposing viewpoints point. You blame everything on Republicans, but fail to realize the inner city this story is speaking of has been failed by Democratic leaders/policy for at least 50 years.
As most people with a functioning brain would know, gun laws only affect people who legally own guns. I'm willing to bet out of the 35 shot this weekend in Chicago, none were shot with a legally owned, registered gun.

This might be one of the dumbest post I've seen on TD. You blame Republicans for Chicago crime and the NRA for Chicago's strict gun laws?

And the untold story is the lack of enforcement of these laws by liberal judges and the liberal states attorneys office.
Watch the Chicago bond court updates. Every week repeat offenders possessing illegal firearms will be let out on $200 bonds.
They are more concerned with showing people that they are jailing less people of color than they are with making people safer or reducing crime.
Blaming other states is an easy and convenient scapegoat.
