Our phase 1 restrictions are not more strict than the whitehouse guidelines. JBE is not lying about that in particular
some might argue that immediately extending Phase 1 restrictions an extra week is being more strict

He was specifically speaking about the restrictions on businessess when he said we are following whitehouse guidelines. There was no confusion that he was potentially talking about the timing

And we won't see Phase 2 until at least June 5.
Thank you, Republicans for JBE. Your service is appreciated.
Not going to matter people are going to start moving quickly toward this no matter what the state says. Look at other states, once they opened that started happening and many loosened restrictions further quickly after that.

If you want to nitpick I think the WH has 6 feet as a social distance guideline
JBE is making restaurants have 10 feet
That’s stricter on businesses

Legislature should have acted earlier and we'd already be almost out of Phase 1.

I'm sure he was
but the length of the phases is part of the guideline, and seemingly a bit part as well
this just pushes us farther back to being 100% open
if we were following the WH guidelines, we could potentially be open by the end of June

People 6 feet apart, tables 10 feet(people sit away from the table. so if tables were 6 feet apart, people at seperate tables would actually only be 4 or so feet apart)

This is from April 21.
It wasn’t until we met it as a state and should have opened that JBE switched it to a regional requirement.

As a state, there was a in increase in deaths on 4/28-4/29. It was a minor tick up, but was definitively a tick upward that can be seen with daily numbers, or with a 7-day rolling average.
There was also an uptick on suspected cases 5/3-5/6, but if we're opening this week then I guess no one is really paying attention to the data anyway.

FWIW, I appreciate your dedication to the numbers. I just don't think it's as clean of a line as saying "everything was down a month ago" and I certainly don't think it's as simply as being able to say "we met this vague criteria based on my selected data on this precise date a months ago."
I also generally think that this is a disturbingly vague set of instructions for the White house to simply call for a "downward trajectory" but here we are.

Until JBE & LDH are transparent in # of cases & # of deaths between the general public, nursing home staff / residents & detention center staff / inmates none of the #’s matter

White House Phase 1 guidelines don't say anything about death numbers. So the uptick you saw on Tuesday, which was a weekend numbers dump, means absolutely nothing.
