The funny part in all this is realistically, a semi famous actor would only be walking around Chicago at 2 am for one thing:
He wanted drugs. Got robbed. Needed a cover story for the hospital and the police report. What better way than to say he was a target of a hate crime. Even asking what else he might have been doing means you are a racist in the court of public opinion.
