When have writers ever been honest with their audience? The LOST writers had a weekly podcast where they mocked the audience for falling for some of the shite they said back in the past. George RR Martin has promised for 20 fricking years that the next book will be released next year. They’re just trying to cover up the plot.

Both parties have devolved into a mess that constantly require a boogeyman to rally against. The majority of threads on the political talk are about SJWs, the liberal media, or liberal politicians. Whatever desire there was to talk policy is gone, and has been for some time.
The right has its issues, and I am not really a fan, but the Kavanaugh issue pushed the envelope too far and now this as well. The left is in a league of their own.
I still cant get over the Kavanaugh dealings.

I agree with all of this LNCH. My OP on this topic was speaking about the parties in general.
Look, there certainly is a "crisis actor" wing of the republican party that would give liberals a run for their money, but they simply don't have the platform to get their message out to the masses. As a result, they're far less effective than the liberal absurdity. I'm not trying to argue otherwise, I'm just stating that it happens.

You see this on the PT when someone is critical of Trump. The standard defense is "but Obama...", as if that matters. We hated Obama as president. Why would we use his actions to defend Trump at times? The whataboutism never ends.
