Glad to see this case dropped. Hopefully it frees up time and money to go after real criminals.

Isn't that usually the opinion of everyone here on bullshite crimes?

We have call logs and the fricking receipts, you nitwit. It’s really as if we had a receipt in OJ’s house that has a knife, gloves, and Bruno Magli shoes and deleted call logs from people who hide the evidence and later admit to it when caught.

Something that I just thought of. At the very least couldn't they have, as part of the deal, told him and his attorneys not to go around and claim his innocence?
Kind of a farce that he can go around saying that it wasn't a hoax

That isn’t why they are letting him off. They have a mountain of evidence.

The assistant state attorney literally said “he’s not innocent.”

Any evidence can be disputed by a competent attorney.

Why did, the DA essentially, and the prosecutor say he was guilty? Also, any idea why they sealed the case from public record?

The biggest issue now, is that they didn't make him admit to it, so he's running around claiming he told the truth, and that his story was 100% true.

You don't need a top attorney, when you have connections that he had. It was chicago politics as usual

Why would he not say he’s innocent?

If he’s innocent why isn’t he screaming for the people that assaulted him to face charges? The two Nigerians

There's a connection via Harris.
However claiming her (Obama) direct involvement is a stretch. But it's not like it's out of the realm of possibility.

Take this FWIW. I'm sure some here won't consider this a credible source but IIRC they had a blind about it being a hoax before anyone else and have solved many other blinds that were true.

I've seen that happen as part of deals before. Maybe that only happens on TV.
Different situation, but the SEC had a similar stipulation when they made a deal with Elon musk last year.

That link is 100% believeable, but the higher politician is Toni Preckwinkle, not an Obama staffer.
