So when Alton Sterling was shot and killed, his supporters staged demonstrations calling for justice. Why aren’t the law abiding citizens who support law enforcement doing similar by staging a demonstration outside Judge White’s court? Just because we have jobs? Don’t we need to pay our civic dues and urge problem judges to resign?
Just so I can say I did something, I will email the local news stations and ask if they will cover this... And possibly look into Judy White's record. But the sad thing is, the voters in her jurisdiction isn't going to stop voting for her because of this.. In fact, she probably gains support for this shite.

Forgive me if this was already addressed but it was my understanding that if you are arrested for another felony charge your bond is revoked.
That’s normally how it works. Or at the least, a higher bond will be set. While the prime goal of bond is to ensure presence in court, that’s not the only consideration and an unwillingness to obey the law is grounds for bond revocation or increased bond.

The people who keep voting for her are just as pathetic as she is.

Scruffy bets she is on the take.

Hopefully Judge Trudy keeps up the good work and the locals in New Orleans start migrating up to Baton Rouge for work.

I don’t know her exact district boundaries but as far as I can tell it seems to cover Baker, NBR, and unincorporated areas between 61 and Zachary. Zachary proper, though, is represented by Mike Erwin.
This means she really is representing the criminal element in the area.

The reason for him being so upset: Why are his officers working so hard to lock people up only to have Baton Rouge judges set extremely low bonds and they're back on the streets in just hours?
"It's like a revolving door and it gets frustrating," Chief McDavid told the 9News Investigators.
And the community that keeps electing her is the same community that will complain about crime in their neighborhood.

Where the frick is Nakamoto to put the pressure on Hillar Moore?
Trudy White was elected and as far as I know, her deciding to reduce a bond, change a bond, etc. is up to her discretion and is legal.
I agree that something has to be done but I assume that would be up to some type of judicial review board and would have nothing to do with Hillar.

Right. She has discretion to adjust bonds. If the people don’t like it, they can vote her out. If she does something unethical, the Judicial Review Board can intervene. If she does something criminal, the attorney general can intervene.
Apparently everything she’s done has been within her legal discretion. Although the bail bond thing a few years ago, i thought that would’ve raised the eyebrows of the judicial board.

People like Trudy White running EBR is the main reason I had enough and moved to Livingston Parish. (Which I said I never would)
I lived in EBR my whole life until 6 months ago when I finally came to the conclusion EBR leaders have shifted and I am no longer heard or welcomed.
Sorry for you guys still hanging in but enough is enough.

I would bet she has a deal with the bail bonds company where she gets a % of the bonds on bonds she has made affordable.
