Shreveport mask mandate halt
Mayor Perkins, aka JBE and Bloomberg’s puppet, over stepped his boundaries when he threatened to pull operation licenses, cut water or pull liquor licenses if businesses were caught with unmasked customers.
People are already calling the Judge and 5 businesses racist. Never mind the fact that Perkins has zero legal authority to levy the penalties.

No businesses who have already been struggling were gonna be the targets. Whether you are for or against wearing a mask, the way he went about it was insane. He put it in and went on a whirlwind new conference, shaming spree that eventually ended in him threatening to cut businesses water and liquor license.... agreed...had he put it into effect and stepped back it would still be in effect. But he had to double and triple down getting more obnoxious with each appearance. I prefer to not wear a mask, but also had no issue doing so....that being said this arrogant arse needed to be bitch slapped back into place

It was pretty damn stupid. I’m not against having to wear a mask. But don’t threaten the businesses if they are caught with an unmasked customer. Put the responsibility on the individual customer and give them a warning or fine.
But nope, can’t hold individuals responsible for their actions in a Democrat society. Gotta blame someone else.

I think this is a much harder to enforce, but correct wya to do it. If a person don't wanna wear one, that's on them and they can face the penalty, but don't punish a business that has already been punished by this whole thing!

Business owners already have enough to do and to worry about without being the mask police- let the concerned citizens call the police on their non-compliant neighbors.

I'm all about people being safe and protected.. Make the recommendation, but to make it a requirement and threaten to shut businesses down if the customers don't abide by that requirement? C'mon man.
I saw a fb post from some girl urging people to petition the mayor of Bossier City to also implement a mask mandate just so the small businesses in Shreveport wouldn't suffer as much. Which they obviously would have.
Perkins is trying to destroy the small businesses that are already having a difficult time surviving in this environment.

He’s just staying in step with his higher ups in the Democratic Party. Except his head got way too big and he decided on outlandish and illegal penalties. He’s trying to set himself up for bigger things by kissing arse of his bosses and show that he can be tough. (All while getting in as many photo ops as possible.)
