I'm not saying they planted anything. But dropping what you're doing to confront someone recording your actions is not a good look

What I saw was the black cop picking up drugs from the ground and handing it to the white cop. He put it down, picked up something else and picked that item back up. The "drugs" wound up being fake (not drugs). The cops would NOT plant fake drugs so obviously this knucklehead was trying to dupe someone in a drug deal with fake drugs.

There’s a big thread on Nola Reddit. This cop has jumped around all Jefferson Parish LEO entities

But I guess we can all get pissy about it.

If that was a plant, that has to be one of the worst ones ever...

It's like an episode of Reno 911.

Why does it matter when he resisted if he didn't break any laws?

If the officer was planting it, it would be good shite. They wouldn’t plant fake drugs, that would be stupid.

There is a specific criminal charge for selling fake dope actually.

So it doesn't sound that stupid if they can still charge you after planting fake dope.

Turns out the stuff in the bags didn’t test for anything, dude was selling fake drugs.

If JPSO was going to plant drugs, you think they would plant a bag with real drugs in it...

I never claimed drugs were planted. I am more concerned about someone being arrested and the only charges they receive are resisting that arrest. If he wasn't doing anything "Illegal enough" to get charged for, why should the police attempt arrest in the first place???

Sounds like “the cop was caught so we’re saying it was fake crack so we don’t have to charge the guy and we don’t get sued”
