Really don't think this is a logical explanation. What good has the Roe v. Wade leak done?

Leaks are meant to serve whoever leaked the information.

And that ain't up for debate.

Liberals like leaking or information release when they think it serves their purpose.

They bash leaks when it doesn't, and seek to destroy the individuals who did it. The Hunter Biden laptop and the Monica Lewinsky affair come to mind. The difference is the media participates in the latter.

I'll echo the sentiments of Bobby Knight on the profession of journalism:

“All of us learn to write in the second grade … most of us go on to greater things.”

Lots of debate on leaks in general and who they really serve.

In the case of RvW leak, this was clearly done to influence/pressure some justices.

Typical liberal "move the goalpoast" drivel.

This may come as a surprise to the reactionaries, but the Supreme court is also meant to serve the public. It's not a privately-held corporation. If you threaten or murder a justice, it is a disservice to the public.

The idiocy continues:
quote:

this leak in no way compromised anyone’s personal information

Is that why there are people threatening harm outside conservative justices' homes?

quote:

A third leak suggested that a member of Hewlett-Packard’s board had provided secret company information to a reporter. A reconfigured HP survives.

And just how did this benefit the public? When HP went through a brutal reorg in 2014, the stockholders didn't fare so well. The majority of those stockholders are pension plans, mutual funds, and insurance companies. Fiduciaries for working people.

I don't care if it was a conservative, liberal, or a goddamn pod person they should be punished. The Supreme Court is supposed to be above the fray, and historically has been leak proof.

LOL

Journalism, at least true Journalism, has been dead a long time now. The old cold war Pravda folks would take one look at our left wing media and blush

No, it's not. It's just not being published in the traditional fora anymore.

How does that benefit them specifically?

If anything, all it's done is made the majority more entrenched.

It benefitted the Democrat party and the body destruction industry.

The Democrat party was the intended benefit, mid terms.

Democrats leak shite to piss off overly dramatic women

That it really has no individual benefit for the leaker, unless that person will be seeking an abortion in a conservative state sometime this summer.

If anything, it's only entrenched the majority and their supporters even more.
