Man, what a freak show. I've never really heard of these people until now.
So from what I've read, the state trooper family friend they consulted turned out to also be a child molester and is now in prison? SMH

I have to defend the guy. His sisters are very hot. But seriously, I have to place the blame on the parents on this one. The Duggars have so many kids that they never had the time to supervise or raise them correctly. The older siblings were basically forced to be the parents to the younger kids. His parents probably didn't have a clue what was going on for long time because there was so much going in the house to keep an eye on everybody.

That is some bullcrap right there. As many crappy parents as there are in the world and you are going to judge the Duggars because they have too many kids to take care of. Of all the child molestation that happens how often does it happen in smaller families? My wife watches the show and I see kids that are pretty well taken care of. God forbid the older kids have responsibility in looking after younger brothers and sisters. Because giving kids no responsibility is working out so well for us. Do I think their view of having children is kind of freakish? Yes. But you know what else is freakish, having zero to one kids because you want to drive nicer truck.

An ignorant bunch of Arkansas hillbillies are not god's special family? I'm shocked.
Disgusting people who preach family values and gay boogeymen. They knew the whole time, too.
That's who votes for Tom Cotton. Another dangerous psychopath. Where was jesus when he molested those girls.

He should be put down. Just like all child molesters. 100% he will do the same to his own kids.

After this information though, I think the environment they created is fair game for evaluation and criticism.

Wow, the ignorant posters are out today, and you're at the top of the list.
LA has an 85 year old ex-governor who spent 15 years in prison and had a baby with a 30 year old woman. And you want to criticize people from another state. Didn't I see you on Deliverance?

Duggar defenders should be banned

Not defending anybody. We all live in glass houses, that's my point.

Lena Dunham.
She's a hero for telling her story of sexually assaulting her sister. What was she 17 while her sister was 10?
Hwr and the Duggar weirdo should get exactly the same punishment.

Glass houses?
If people were crucifying the Duggars about something minor like losing their temper with their kids every now and again or forgetting to send cupcakes to school for their class party, then yeah, that would be a glass house situation.
Child molestation and covering it up and creating the home life they have is NOT a glass house situation. At all.

I've literally cut a hole in a snuggles teddy bear and fricked it when i was 12 lol. You're a teenager you got all this new found testosterone going you don't know what the frick is gonna on. Throw in parents that have 18 other kids to take care of, and a super strict religious family that shuns outsiders, yeah. i'm not really all that surprised. it's sad. but i'm not surprised.
A 14 year old boy is gonna be a 14 year old boy. There's not enough religion in the world to shut out testosterone so the best thing you can do is sit down and teach a boy real right from wrong shite

That's some real mafia shite right there. ole Jimbo must have the goods on errbody in that neck of the woods.
Also, it's very interesting that the 'family friend' state trooper the family reached out to just happened to be a child molester himself. Coincidence, or something more sinister?

Also Friday, Arkansas police said they had destroyed a record outlining a nearly decade-old investigation into Duggar, a day after the 27-year-old resigned his role with a prominent conservative Christian group amid reports about the allegations.
quote:
The report, originally published by tabloid In Touch Weekly, states that a member of Harpo Studios, the producer of Oprah Winfrey's then show, received an email containing the allegations before the family was set to appear in 2006. The tipster warned producers against allowing the Duggars on the show and studio staff members faxed a copy of the email to Arkansas State Police.
Springdale Police spokesman Scott Lewis said Judge Stacey Zimmerman ordered the 2006 offense report destroyed Thursday. Zimmerman didn't return a request for comment on Friday.
"The judge ordered us yesterday to expunge that record," Lewis said, adding that similar records are typically kept indefinitely. "As far as the Springdale Police Department is concerned this report doesn't exist."
