I certainly don't know Colorado law, but I'm sure if a now 29 year old admits that his parents killed someone when he was 9 years old, I doubt that would be something he could then be charged with.
Again, I seriously doubt he'd admit any family involvement, probably won't even be asked. Dr. Phil handles psychological issues so I'd expect his offering psychological help to Burke will be the angle of these shows.

Dr. Phil, peddling pop psychology garbage to the unwashed masses.

Reading stories from the investigators at the scene knew right then it wasn't adding up. One even was quoted as "having that feeling come over you" when in the presence of a murderer. Not that that in itself is justifiable for arrest, but most of the investigation pointed to them, even some egregious mistakes were made.
Part of the problem for the prosecution, which may have ultimately doomed it, was they could not determine who actually killed JonBenet. Was it John? Was it Pats? Was it Burke? The only thing obvious it was one of them. But it's not obvious to eliminate any of them. The only given is Patsy wrote the ransom note. But that doesn't mean she killed her.

I don't think anyone mentioned it yet but didn't John receive a bonus at work in the same amount that was asked for in the ransom note? How fricking coincidental can that be?

The most prevalent theory online is that:
John killed JB by himself, Patsy was asleep
John wrote ransom note and stressed not to call police so that he could leave under the pretense of getting the ransom and have a chance to get rid of the body
Patsy read the note, called 911 immediately and ruined John's plan
With that said, most experts did think Patsy wrote the note. Honestly, I've thought about this from all angles and I can never come to a conclusion.
Lots of things make me think it was Fleet White..but the intruder had to be in the house at least 2 hours, so I don't know how that's possible.
I DO 100% think it was an unplanned accident IF any of the Ramsey family did it.

Yeah. It's ridiculous.
It was supposedly a kidnapping, but the kidnapper spent tons of time before getting out (tying up the kid, abusing her, dragging her down to the basement, getting paper and a pen and writing a 3 page ransom letter) and left a demand for the same amount as the father's bonus, in the mom's handwriting! They also never established how this person got in or out, and over the years the number of mystery hairs or footprints or hand-prints has all dwindled down to nil, so there's really no strong evidence that anyone else was ever there.
One of them did it and the other one helped cover it up. The cops had the challenge of being unable to say which one, which makes it hard to try anyone, and they also totally screwed up and contaminated the crime scene and had poor chain of custody and control over the crime scene, so they were screwed from the start. Then the DA basically worked on the parents' side and the parents each had a lawyer, had their financial manager involved, had the help of Lockheed and its lawyers, and even hired a crisis management firm to guide them.

Ratings and Cash!! Nothing really new will be revealed. They'll string you along, holding you in suspense until the last segment...which will reveal nothing. This type of shat will appeal to the low hanging fruit that watches..Naked & Afraid, and other reality nonsense.

DNA cleared both parents & the brother.

Not really. After her body had been examined by dozens of people they found DNA of someone other than the three family members you mentioned. That hardly clears them of anything. It just means that after she passed, someone could have transferred their DNA to her.

Another paid off DA to provide this narrative. Indicating that there was DNA found on her clothing other than her parents, years after I might add, means absolutely nothing. And you know why it means nothing? Do you see the DA trying to find the source of this mysterious DNA which could actually bring a close to this case? No! Why aren't they pursuing it? Because it's a dead end and everyone knows this DNA BS is just smoke and mirrors.
