It's mind-numbing how often these threads pop up and more amazing how many mongoloids think a Navy Seal is beating JBJ in a physical altercation.

Training in different techniques. One trains fitnthe rules of the octagon, the other to eliminate. State of mind matters. If you're trying to knock someone out and the other is trying to kill you it is a different type of attack
I can't picture a scenario where a seal beats a top flight MMA fighter just because of "state of mind." The seal is outclassed in every aspect. Striking? MMA fighter is vastly superior. Ground? MMA fighter is vastly superior.
Paint me a picture how the seal wins.

How about John Jones Vs 1000 8 year olds
Depends on the 8 year olds. 1000 of Helmet or Kibble’s little pussy arse kids, sure, no problem. They’ll be crying before the first punch because of “colonialism” or some shite.
Now, some 8 year olds from the 90s on huffy’s,
Raised on WWF and looney toons and action figures?
You’ll hear Wagner’s “Ride of the Valkyries”
Then you hear a strange sound, like the beating of a thousand locust wings. That thwip-thwip-thwip-thwip-thwip-thwip
And all at once the wheeled cavalry of 8 year olds descend from hill, hopped up on Ecto-coolers and pixie stix.
They are veterans of BB gun wars and bottle rocket fights. They bear the scars to prove it. And they are angry. As angry as someone who finds out that hoverboards aren’t real.
They attack as one, delivering atomic wedgies and purple nurples and Indian burns.
Jones cannot endure the onslaught of so many at once, and he succumbs to the fluorescent mass.

Dafuq outta here.
In the octogon JJ has the advantage.
Put JJ in the forest and JJ is one dead man. He would never even see the seal.

I think you are underestimating the training in h2h a seal does, but MMA definitely trains more. It is all they have to do while a seal needs to shoot. Nav, etc. My point is that it is a much different fight between personal safety vs pads and a ref.

Walk me through how you see a seal winning.

you are being silly. jon jones not only trains, but has fought against most of the baddest dudes in MMA history and won. jon jones will destroy any seal in a fight to the death and it will be easier than any fight he has fought in the last 10 years

This mystical “to the death” gene that seals have is the dumbest shite. It will not overcome being completely outclassed in unarmed hand to hand combat. If it stays on the feet, the seal is getting KOd. If it goes to the ground, the seal is getting pummeled and/or choked.

Put them in a cage with a ref and gloves... seal gets destroyed.
Put them in the streets... seal wins.

Put them in the streets... seal wins.

How do people not get that?
A guy tapping is literally saying don't break my limp or choke me to death.
The idea of the octagon vs the street is also retarded.

No
Seals are quite overrated thanks to all the media attention they get. With the way people talk about them (and how some of the seals think of themselves), you’d think they’re Captain America level super-soldiers.
