bullshite! It's going through Metairie as well. I've known a few kids who have had it. NONE are "extremely" sick. Mild flu like symptoms is the worst, but it has been sniffles or asymptomatic for most.

Bro, she posted a link. Her info is obviously correct

Saying no proof of covid death in kids is disingenuous but the fact is that covid is significantly less deadly to kids than the flu.

For kids 0-17, there have been 337 deaths involving COVID-19 in some fashion.

For the 2019-2020 flu season (roughly 1/4 of the covid period) there were 434 deaths in kids 0-17.

think we can all agree that for an individual covid is about the same as the flu. But surely we can all agree it's way more contagious than the flu.

For most people including kids it’s not anywhere close to the flu, more like a cold. We don’t shut down schools for colds

I posted a news alert from a local reporter, and a story from our church/school
You posted a link saying Arkansas has had its second pediatric death in the entire covid saga

1. That is statistically zero

2. It in no way even contradicts the OP article from Johns Hopkins, to which you emotionally said "WRONG". The Johns Hopkins article simply points out all pediatric deaths (which is under 400 nationwide, statistically zero again) have been associated with patients presenting with diseases as serious as leukemia. Nowhere in your article that you so gleefully posted does it say the Arkansas child did not have a disease similar

WRONG. Also, parishioners at our church in Little Rock all got it within their family. The pregnant Mother has been hospitalized and just lost the baby due to complications from Covid.

But I guess none of that matters. Micro chippers

Says they are adding 2, one that happened last August. So it took them a year to confirm the child died from Covid.

Confirming what? What is self serving about not buying into bullshite mandates and emergency orders that destroy the lives of many people?

Are you takin that to mean I don't think COVID Is s areal thing? Explain how it is self serving.

Did you even read the OP? It said without pre existing conditions. Your tweets have absolutely nothing but a pediatric death. So a kid passed with Covid. Fact. Due to it? Unknown

These people are legit sociopaths. I’ve honestly erred on the side of “I don’t give a crap what people choose” for the past year. Guess I thought better of our society, the people of Louisiana (and so pro life except when it comes to this) and their moral obligation to make decisions outside of just “doesn’t affect me bro”, but that’s more of the selfish narcissistic attitude that prevails in today’s society.

You’ve got doctors and nurses begging people to get vaccinated. But no. They’re all in on the conspiracy, too.

This was downvoted, but it is true. The WSJ is right of center. I think the reason it is being downvoted is because Trumpkins think that if an institution is not slavishly devoted to Trump it is left leaning. ?

It's rating is center. A decade ago trump would be left of center, now he's a rt wing extremist.

That's where this is going. The country as a whole has shifted left.

Her proof? There were ELEVEN KIDS HOSPITALIZED WITH COVID IN HER AREA(Its now 10 as of today)

During the normal months of covid, they averaged 5 kids in the hospital with covid

Those additional 5 kids have her shook

If you champion the vaccine then you need to be fair on this point: children aren't greatly affected by COVID. We shouldn't be basing policy on them or forcing restrictions because they can't be vaccinated. They, more often than not, don't need to be.

That said, the "if you ignore the kids who had stuff other than covid, then no kids really died of covid" argument seems dishonest to me (especially when you expand it to the population at large, which I'll explain in a second). Some kids have pre-existing conditions, and they should be the exception, not the norm, for kids requiring a shot. But that's no reason to enact restrictions or make policy for kids as a whole.

No one (intelligent) is arguing that lots of totally healthy people are dropping dead only from COVID. The larger focus should be that lots of people do have comorbidities, and that's why a vaccine is a short term fix, with healthy lifestyle changes being necessary in the long term.

Well now there’s only 9, but that’s because one succumbed to covid. But I’m sure that doesn’t count, you’ll need to see their autopsy report to believe it.
