John Besh and Company Accused of Sexual Harrassment

Except the women here aren’t all pressing charges or suing. They made public allegations to a reporter and nine put their names in it.

you definitely didnt read the whole thing, if any of it. I'm not saying it's the gospel but these are far more than garden variety complaints. Lots of explicit details of alleged sexual encounters between Besh and women.

The one between Besh and a the woman sounds like a woman scorned.
She was pressured into a long term relationship, but then he decided to let her go, and she was going to accept money, then changed her mind on how much.
Sounds like Besh's wife caught him, he had to move the slam piece out of the business/state. He felt bad for it because he knows he is to blame. He moves to help her with expenses or try to give a little financial support, she looks a gift horse in the mouth and goes to borderline extortion, basically told that "her lawyer can talk to his lawyer" and we will see how much is owed.
He admits to the affair, admits it was wrong, trying to reconcile.

And exactly why women really struggle at finding a place in the professional kitchen. If I have to explain why that is then you’ve no clue about restaurant kitchens. It’s not for the faint of heart and you will get your feelings hurt on the reg.
