Does she enjoy servicing young construction men? She could always work at lowes.

If she is in Texas she can sell electricity since it is now deregulated. Can make decent money and work from home.

Volunteering would be good.

If she wants to be around kids then maybe talk to the local school system.

Maybe volunteer as a "pink lady" at a local hospital. The ones who sit around and give directions and drink coffee and visit a lot.

I have to agree with everyone here who recommended a hospital. I have a relative who is about that age who started volunteering at a hospital doing some very light weight clerical work, answering the phone, and generally greeting people who were there. she ended up doing it for free for about a decade and was offered paid positions several times along the way (which she turned down). she ultimately gave it up, but it did her a ton of good for the time she worked there.

Baby cuddler at a hospital (volunteer)

This sounds creepy..

I know what they are for an all, but if I didn't and was asked "we got someone to volunteer to cuddle you baby, would you like to use the service?" I would be caught off guard for sure.

I knew someone would say this.

But, seriously, watching the older women rock the babies to sleep, while mom rests, is awesome. And they do call them "cuddlers". Both the babies and "grandmas" are happy, in no creepy fashion. And mom is super happy to get some sleep.

Remember, wet nurses used to exist. Your baby was nursed by another woman who just had a baby. And THAT was normal. Cuddle nurses don't hold a creepy candle...

If she has a good voice, manning a 24 hour sex line might work for her.

You have a point, but I had no idea there was once a thing as a "wet nurse". That actually sounds like the title of an adult movie... but I guess i'd take the cuddler over the wet nurse any day.

A wet nurse is a woman who breast feeds and cares for another's child. Wet nurses are employed when the mother is unable or elects not to nurse the child herself. Wet-nursed children may be known as "milk-siblings", and in some cultures the families are linked by a special relationship of milk kinship.
