What meteorologists rarely do is to look out at the way the climatological data relates to the current seasonal pattern. In other words in the summer they sky scream about the bad and prolonged heat dome but rarely tell how long they predict it to last. And for this year it is dry as a popcorn fart and they love to talk about the burn bans rather than give hope the pattern will change which maybe it won't, IDK. But that is their degree. I tire of sensationalist stuff.
