Do not know who this will help:

Just wanted to pass along a notice that Jet Blue has capped their flights around $110 one-way to get out of Florida before the storm, but you would need to act now.

JetBlue Website
Miami Herald article regarding Price Cap

Best of luck to any and everyone in Florida.

Delta also waived baggage fees and the fees for having a pet in a pet carrier in the cabin.

That's about the max I'd pay to fly JetBlue in the first place.

Smart business. The planes are already flying out and the cost is the same, but they get great PR by leaving a relatively small amount of money on the table.

So if I understand OT economics, now all the flights will quickly be sold out and people who need them and can afford them won't have access.

Am I doing it right?

2 seats left for a flight from Ft. Lauderdale to New Orleans tomorrow morning for $69 each. Damn cheap if you ask me.

They're trying to escape death... wouldn't make any sense to fly to New Orleans.
