Just got a text from Entergy saying the estimated time of restored power is 8:00 tomorrow morning?!

When giving you a time estimate, Entergy always errs on the side of caution. ETA: They don't want to tell you "3pm" and then power doesn't come back until 9:00 tonight.

I get that but I got one an hour ago saying it was going to be 1:00 today. Then it jumped to 8:00 tomorrow.

Ok I just met with the head Entergy lineman. A very portly black gentleman named “ Mr. Chambers” . He confirmed that there is an issue with a flux capacitor, and that they have brought “ all available resources to bear “ “ as far as I knew” and that “ I would now get to learn what it feels like to sit in the dark while The Man be oppressing an shite” . He was very comprehensive in the way he mixed electrical issues with social justice. I know I feel better.

Nothing like talking Saints football with the quarterback that lead the Saints to their first playoff game........I was a Saints quarterback, you gotta see the game differently. What I see is completely different from what you see and I anticipate what's going to happen next.
