Jeff, worry about getting insurance lowered and roads/ drainage fixed. Not LSU or other crap like a statue.

I will be honest. I saw his videos and at one point only knew him as the guy on youtube who debates college students. He seemed like a pretty cool person, but I didn't know his name until maybe end of last year, early this year. I just don't follow politics that much to know all of these people.
I think what happened to him was horrible and I think its odd the guy was shot on a Wednesday, that Sunday there this huge memorial for him then it seemed like everyone associated with him just sort of moved on. He was assassinated on a college campus. I understand they arrested the guy who did it, but it was as if he was in the perfect stop. Just out of the way of the building behind where his tent was.
Why would someone who had people who passionately disagree with him, not have something behind him. Some type of wall, some type of background.
Anyway, it just seems like a very strange request from a governor to request a statue of someone who has no ties to LSU. Take the money that would cost to make a statue of him and do something constructive with it.
I think its sad that Landry appears to be using this situation for personal gain.

Look I was a fan of Charlie Kirk myself but if he gets a statue on campus before Joey B we need to go look ourselves in the mirror

I honestly think he has some significant cognitive issues. He has some sense of what the political base that elected him wants but his attempts to pander to it are miscalculated so badly it's embarrassing. But apparently not to him!

He's pandering to trump and the super supporters. His goal isn't to better Louisiana, it's all personal gain and trying to move up in the political game. He's just shite at it.

I’d love to see a statue, at free speech alley, of Charlie Kirk and MLK sitting across the table from each other and having a civil conversation. These are the two great American men who eschewed violence, and violent rhetoric, for persuasive speech.

Stupid pandering. He’s trying to follow Trump’s Medal of Freedom. I like Charlie , but statues should be only for those who made contributions to LSU.
