No offense but your wife isnt Bezos and this little post here helps him get his internet credit points. I could see him faking this as a PR stunt. Makes him look genuine to the cause and less like the standard corporate formula response.

I find it strange someone would not only be able to email him directly, but also someone like that being a huge Amazon fan to that degree?

I have zero direct evidence of the veracity of the existence of this email or the intentions of the writer if it is real just like everyone else else here, I would not be surprised if it was real.
Amazon has over 100 million Prime accounts in the US. A majority of Americans have access to one of these accounts.
I would expect at least 1000 of those have serious white supremacy/white separatists leanings.
I would not be surprised at least 1 of them would be motivated to write an email as such.
Bezos has a "public" email address.
While he would not open any of the emails from that account himself if the email was sent to the account you can bet it would have been flagged for his reading.
Anyone convinced 100% about its authenticity one way or another is just allowing their emotions to dictate their position.

He intentionally tries to trigger his own customer base and then flaunts the results to show how great he is. So he now has proof there are racist people in the world. But there are also many who just don’t care for BLM and that alone doesn’t make them racists. Others are just sick of it all. How many people sent positive messages or no message at all?

What I know for certain is you're going to the mat for Dave. That you more than likely identify more with Dave than Jeff. And while you obviously think it's fake you can't imagine it being so real that it defines who you are. So... labeling it fake is easier than labeling Tigger.
