Amazon is technology titan. They compete against Apple, Microsoft, the chicken-frickers at Oracle, and Google in various arenas.

I'm not saying you should like Jeff Bezos, but if you're going to piss on him, you would appear more informed if you did so stating valid reasons.

Dude literally fricked off more money than anyone on Earth could possibly imagine and the side piece wasnt even better looking than his wife. It's amazing how these guys can be super genius in one aspect of life and complete pancakes in others

I think you severely underestimate the amount of gold diggers thrown his way. One single moment with one woman could totally rob him of many things hes worked for, and there are probably TONS looking to take advantage of his postion.

Not to mention, Amazon is also fueling other small businesses by supplying them items that they can get cheaper and more efficient than local stores.
I can’t tell you how fleeced sometimes I feel when I have to buy simple things like cables or connectors that are priced too high and/or their inventory is very low.
With Amazon if I have some lead time like 1 or 2 days, I can order what I need and in the quantity I need for much less usually with free shipping.

Amazon is as much a marketplace as it is a warehouse and it has been good to the beloved mom and pop stores.
