Jeeps or the mall crawlers. Very rarely will you see them on actual Jeeps (CJs, YJs, or TJs).

The most likely to be a mall crawler these days is a CJ. Usually someone dumped an asslod of money into a rebuild and it is trailer queen.

Not counting tube frames that slap a CJ grill on the front.

They will anyway. Had a Jeep… a real one. Some don’t even have 4 wheel drive but they buy big mud tires knowing it will never drive in the mud.

Why?

Please explain to me why it matters to you. How does it affect your life?

I've owned Jeep Wranglers my whole life and I think it's stupid. Basically it's a soccer mom and guy who's Jeep has never left the pavement thing. That said, there are way bigger things to worry about. If you can afford a damn Jeep these days, I guess you can decorate it any way you please.

Took this photo of typical jeep behavior at my local grocery store a few months back

Flew to Houston for work on Tuesday and got put in a Jeep Gladiator for my rental. After a little bit of driving I realized I was supposed to be waving at other Jeeps. No one ducked me though, my one and only chance to get ducked. What a disappointment

My Dad has a modified Jeep that EVRYBODY Loves when they see it out in public. He gets those rubber ducks all the time. I think its a fun thing for Jeep owners to do.

it's no different than LSU fans trading corn dogs

Exactly. It's a jeep thing and I do understand. That's why I sold my CJ-5 several years ago and have never regretted getting rid of it. JEEP = Just Empty Every Pocket.

Jeep people are fricking weird. If I really wanted a Jeep, I wouldn't get one because of the Jeep cult.

And just like that, Chris vindicates Jeep owners.

My M38A1c is set up for shooting those ducks. The M27 105MM Recoilless could handle a whole flock in one whack.
One of my grandsons that is in the military wants to get started on restoring mine, I guess maybe he can have it.
This fellow has his unit nicely restored.

Saw one today, 40-50’s male driving, about 50 rubber ducks across the dash.

Not hating on the CJ/YJ/TJ baws. Those are classic.

This new jeep culture though...
