he Hellcat-ified Grand Cherokee, which we’ve been telling you about for a while now, was shown to Fiat-Chrysler dealers during the automaker’s annual dealership meeting in Las Vegas yesterday, Automotive News reports. As it will pack the 707-hp 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 found in Dodge’s neck-snappiest Challenger and Charger, Jeep told the assembled vehicle peddlers that the all-wheel-drive SRT Trackhawk will accomplish the zero-to-60-mph sprint in an astounding 3.5 seconds. For the record, the quickest such time posted in our last mega-SUV comparison test was 4.0 seconds, by the BMW X5 M. Timing for the Trackhawk’s arrival wasn’t confirmed, but our latest intelligence suggests it will be on the road by next summer.

$90k? These super SUV's do nothing for me though.

That thing is fugly, and I like the new Grand Cherokee. For $90k, I'll just spend the extra $9k and get the X5 M. Don't care if it's a little bit slower.

A 707hp SUV, because your kids need to get to soccer practice faster.

Just checked....Still a Chrysler product

Looks like every other mid-sized suv/4WD minvan
Posted on 2/16/16 at 11:09 am to LSUChamp06
And yet it'll still fall apart in 5 years. fricking Chryslers.

That thing looks terrible.

It's still a POS Fiat-Chrysler product. You can get a lot better for less money

Why would a sports car appeal to anyone? They're impractical, usually uncomfortable, etc.
This is a rhetorical question obviously.

I feel the same way about this as I do about the Porsche Cayenne/Turbo.
Family vehicles for soccer moms transporting kids don't need 700 horses.

My brother paid 70k for his SRT Cherokee. It's nice, but not 70k nice. No way I would pay 90k. He just had to pay over $600ea for new tires. Second set he's put on. They only last 20k miles.

When will the new jeep truck be released? That is what I'm waiting on.

Why are SUVs only for soccer moms?

because people actually race the JGCSRT. They run in the 12's stock(the 6.4L hemi) as a full sized suv. Also, its the perfect compromise for fathers with multiple children. you can put put around in a Surburban or Enclave, or you could have 707 hp attached to an 8 speed automatic transmission matted to a n AWD system and have some serious fun.
