Land Cruiser or Tacoma for the win.

Um no. There is Wrangler and then there is everything else. For the price of a Land Cruiser, you can build out a bulletproof Wrangler with a Hemi and Dana 60s F/R.
Tacoma is a truck and made to do truck things, not Jeep things.

Yep! There's a reason you don't see Jeeps in Africa. It's either Land Cruisers or Land Rovers

Land Cruiser is the standard. You can find them on every continent.

I have a 2007 Tacoma with 200k miles and it has been a money pit. It's still running though. I think Toyota quality is overrated, tbh.

Is there where we go into global economics/distribution and how your argument is not a valid comparison?
However ISIS approves of your post

Land Rovers
I've had several. They're not exactly problem free.

I can't speak for the Jeeps made today, but got 482,000 out of an old 4.0 I-6. All that ever needed replaced was a radiator and a power steering pump.

I have a 04 Dodge Ram w/155K miles zero. Used to tow my 1994 YJ with 190K miles all over the south to trail ride.
My 94 went to 135K miles basically stock with only a new radiator.
My 2013 4-door has 70K miles with zero issues.
Got them all with less than 15K miles and did all maintenance myself.
Maybe im just lucky

It has nothing to do with quality or capabilities of product.

Lots of Land Rovers because the Queen made them accessible

I have towed very little with it . Nothing heavy for sure. I have had a Cherokee with the I6 loved it nothing major go out on it. I had a 96 grand Cherokee with 5.2 it was a beast tons of power. I have never had an engine or transmission issue with any of them. But rear end in my last 2 with less then 100k on them. I have had few chevys and never had rear end issues. I guess it just a jeep thing. Maybe I need to drop A ford 9in in it. Or the 8.8 might have better luck with it.

My wife's 6 year old Jeep Wrangler has been very reliable

It's a lifestyle...if you haven't lifted one and gone off-road with it, you wouldn't understand.
All I ever do with my 05 Ruby is regular maintenance and powerwash her underbelly after the weekends.
