Glad I bought a lifetime unlimited warranty through MOPAR.
Nobody is happier than the guy at the dealership who sold it to you.

My brother works in sales and said that stuff is where the finance guys make all their money. Pro tip- never buy gap insurance! Biggest sham in the business.

Have had five Jeeps and one rear end issue and that was at 170k miles. The only one that I bought used.

That's why if you get a jeep (to use as an actual jeep and not just try and look cool) you get a weekend beater that is a toy.

I purchased it directly from mopart after I bought my jeep for a couple thousand less than what was originally offered. This isn't an LDS or third party or gap insurance from the dealership to make money off of me.

I've had 2 wranglers. My 97 Had its tranny go bad. But, I pulled 2 jetskis and a pop-up behind it all the time. Haven't had any problems with my 13 jku.
And jeeps hold there value better than any other vehicle including tacomas

Lol. Doesn't matter after all the repairs you dump into a jeep

Have two Jeeps
'04 Unlimited 124K
'06 X 148K
No problem so far just routine maintenance.
Love the inline six. '06 was the last year.
CJ - Civilian Jeep
YJ - Yesterday's Jeep
TJ - Today's Jeep
JK - Just Kidding

Jeeps empty people's pockets by modifying them. But, it's one of the only vehicles that adds value from doing the add ons

Found out today at only 50K miles my rear end is done toast. REALLY.

Sounds highly suspect.

What exactly went bad. Your 44 should hold up to even decent wheeling, they are very basic in design as well.

Is it definitely a 44?

I have owned several Jeeps through the years. A few weeks ago, I got rid of what will be the last Jeep I plan to own. Typically get a few good years out of them and then the problems start. Can't say I didn't give them a chance.... but unfortunately they are just too cheaply made!

Most likely. I don't think they are putting 35s on the rear any longer.

My 2000 XJ has been flawless except quirky turn signals and a power rear window with a mind of its own.

Rj60s are pretty much the ideal setup if going 37 or higher, but the rear 44 holds up just fine anything less and will even handle 37s if you don't drive like a fool

You're right. I forgot the rears were 44s on all models. It's just the front that varies.

Just wait for the denial. Let's just say don't trust fiat.

I "had" the lifetime as part of my purchase when they did them in 07-08

Only thing good that came from it is I now have a hemi, rather than the pos v6.
