restaurants set up heaters for their customers during the winters months so they seat people outside when their indoor dining is full.....this will be no different.

Yes. People will still eat outside under the heaters.

This tiny trinkle of income will not replace the income from indoor dining. Nor will the level of income from the outside area be that of previous years outside areas.

if Beer Jeep doesnt like eating outside and cant get a table inside, then stay home....someone else will eat at your table.

Again. I’m not arguing anything different than you I’m saying the amount of people doing this will not be enough to float these businesses through the season.

Now. Back to me being “scared” I would like you to elaborate

ive never sat outside to eat or drink in the cold unless there was a heating system..in which they can make it very comfortable for you if you're dining outside.

Is latoya gonna lay off her little ‘gotta be more restrictive than the state’ bit now that she’s got another scandal to worry about with the property tax lies?

She just ignores the criticism. It dies down after a week.

indoors are still open

for some yes for some no.....they will just have to find that balance in their labor and food cost and still keep their profit margins the same.

Fast food restaurants are making better profits having their lobbies closed and only doing drive thru...go check YUM and McDonalds stock since March

they will make adjustments....the "cold weather" in Louisiana isnt going to be the deciding factor whether a business stays open or not

You dont like being cold....it's ok. I'm not a fan of cold weather either but I like it during hunting season because it keeps the snakes and wasp away....because I'm scared of being bit and stung

For how long? We both know they’ll restrict it further

Fast food =/= sit down restaurants.

Coke on man

Correct. Government restrictions will. Ie: limiting indoor capacity

Again, you are equating not liking something, or preferring something over another thing, to being scared.

quote:

scared /skerd/ Learn to pronounce adjective fearful; frightened.

Again, how does preferring to eat in the warmth equate to being scared?

It’s okay to admit you used the wrong adjective. I won’t hold it against you, not like english is your native language.

I dont know about that...this latest revision just seems like they are trying to pull back the reigns until after the holidays...I dont think they will completely shut down restaurants and bars again like they did at the beginning. Right now they are at 50%.. I think(hope) they will keep it like it is for now until after Christmas......I think(hope) the next 28 days will remain in phase 2.5 then hopefully open things back up again.

Fast food =/= sit down restaurants.

not comparing sit downs to fast food, just pointing out that there are ways to reduce labor cost and still make a profit...lots of restaurants have done ok with curbside and delivery but that doesnt take the place of a sit down experience..I get that and thats why if people can sit outside, even if it's a little chilly, under a heater....they will

50% for the next 28 days

This crap needs to go to the Supreme Court. This seems like infringing on Civil Liberties.

Or, they could open back up and the govt can frick right off.

Doesn’t matter. Govt picking and choosing winners and losers.

I don’t like eating outside when it’s cold because the food gets cold. If I’m cold, I’ll simply put on more clothes.

You just can’t help but be wrong, can you?

You really are going to continue to double down on the “scared” angle instead of simply admitting you chose the wrong adjective? Damn son. Of all the hills to die on

If you’re scared just say you’re scared man. I not afraid to admit when I’m scared.

shite dont like eating outside during August when it’s 105 degrees because I’m scared the ice in my cocktail will water it down
