Did those vaccines stop transmission though? I don’t know. I’m genuinely asking. Because if they did, then it’s not comparable. Seems this vax needs to be more in the category of flu shots. The shots will never eradicate the flu.

Why? Have you watched the Louisiana legislature this year? Republicans have a majority in both houses and didn't get shite done. They even bragged about having votes to override JBE's veto of the high school sports bill that would ban trans-athletes from playing girls sports. Called a veto-override session and nothing was overriden. The speaker of the House, a Republican, has been in lockstep with the Democrats since the pandemic began. If the Republicans weren't going to do their jobs before this, why would they do it now?

It's why he does the mask mandate now. Look at the first mask mandate. Issued on 7/13, the highest daily total at that point (until December) was 7/13. So, let's see the numbers in a few weeks and watch the highest daily total fall around 8/01.
Which is a little earlier than all of the experts were saying when they were looking at the stats & trends. About 2 weeks ago, they were expecting LA to plateau in 2-3 weeks.

I don't really support mask mandates. Everything should be left up to the person. Vaccine, masks, etc. That said, you have some absolutely stupid motherfrickers especially on this site that shouldn't comment on some things. Anyone educated is mostly vaccinated at this point. The people who aren't, well, let's just say Darwinism will win out at some point.

Exactly, I’m done with this shite. My son starts 3rd grade Friday and he has a speech impediment which the speech therapists at his school have helped tremendously since he started Pre-K and I honestly don’t know how this is going to work for him. Damn near everyone in my family and most people I know got the vaccine, and for what? I wouldn’t give a shite if all these slimy politicians dropped dead right this very second.
