And it's too far off the rails to just put it back on. No politician is just going to say "ya know I think I fricked up, business as usual"

Ohio has taken drastic measures. Is their Republican governor trying to sabotage Trump's administration?

Again let’s not make this political but Kasich hates trump.

As for Florida, that’s why I don’t want to make this political.

While I do not want either to occur, it is completely asinine to me that the airports continue to operate and they are saying gatherings of 10 or more people is not allowed in public places.

Different problems in different places.

I do think NOLA airport should be only flights getting people back home at this point.

What don't you understand about exponential growth?

The CDC is predicting this to cause 20 to 40x the fatalities of the Flu which was 35k.

That means the coronavirus is expected to kill 700,000 to 1,400,000 Americans. Some OT douches will say it's only 0.4% of the population but 1.4 million dead is serious.

That means Orlando will have 11,000 dead. New Orleans 6,000.

Every decent sized city will have thousands dead by the end of this if we don't take measures to slow the virus.

quote:

A recent CDC projection estimated that the U.S. coronavirus epidemic could infect between 160 million and 214 million people over a period of more than a year — and kill anywhere from 200,000 to 1.7 million people in the country.

Has there been any empirical data from anywhere to support that? Does italy even follow that track?

It “could” also fade away in 2 months.

But there’s no way in hell its killing 1 million people.
