This is a strong line up. Lol @ the posters saying otherwise. They just see Lizzo and stop reading and call the whole thing meh.

I mean music is subjective, but this has strong performers all the way down to the smaller names. Better than the Voodoo line up last year at least. That was a let down.

You need to check out Railbird at Keeneland in August. My buddy is the one who sets it up and runs it...it cool music, Bourbon, and you can bet on off track horse races.

I am actually quite excited about seeing Avett Bros, Shovel & Rope, Elvis Costello, Of Monsters and Men and John Prine. All but Prine will put on a great show. As for Prine, I am just satisfied he is still alive.

My buddy hooked up with the production company that runs Bonaroo...Railbird is going to get better.

I think it is indeed a good lineup... The Who is a big get. People don't see any crazy names like the Stones and immediately think this sucks. It might be a while before the Fest tries to get that big of a name again. Too many problems with the pricing and staging for that big of a name, and then the whole damn thing fell apart.

The performers continue to get older, and older. Why can't Jazz Fest separate from the "this is my last reunion tour" artist? Become relevant again.

He's still performing twice a month at Snug. He's playing with his son's band, Jason Marsalis.
