You think threatening to kill someone is protected by the 1st Amendment?

You think the sounds someone makes with their mouth should land them in prison?

I think when someone makes a threat and has the tool to do the threat he made, on him, it should be taken serious.

No, it wasn't. Threating to kill someone with the ability to carry it out should be illegal. Asking "should sounds that you make with your mouth be illegal" is an intellectually dishonest question, of which you are fully aware. Which is why I responded by rhetorically asking you if that was a serious question.

Do you think it should be illegal to file a false police report or call in a bomb threat to a school? After all, those are just sounds made with your mouth.

A restraining order and probation seems more reasonable than prison time.

He probably won't serve actual prison time and will get both a restraining order placed on him and probation.

He just needs to understand that Jaxxton can't play defense...so when they are going man-to-man, his arse is going to be on the bench.

Both of these require actions to accomplish. Surely you're intelligent enough to see that.

This dude could potentially not be able to get a decent job for the rest of his life because of a threat. Overcharging breeds career criminals

Other states call the charge "terroristic threats" when you threaten to kill someone

It's exactly what Missouri calls it as well.

If you think this is a good counter-argument, you're even dumber than your initial comment suggested

Just a thought, but why on Earth would you “admit” to having the gun with you at the school?

Typical liberal tactic, can't counter a point so go after low hanging fruit like name calling. Stick to the topic pal, clearly you can acknowledge that saying "I'm gonna call in a bomb threat" is very different from actually calling in said bomb threat.
