I still don't understand how banks and investors thought a business that is little more than a go between property owners and renters was a billion dollar company.
There's absolutely a large market especially in big cities for Regus and WeWork type of companies. I think they are overextended certainly. But you say Billion dollar company when they have Billions in leases, their evaluation in the Billions is not likely far off. $47 Billion certainly for WeWork.
They are not for me, but I get their market too.

They have no proprietary technology. They don't sell technology. They sell temporary office space with wifi and rose pedal flavored toilet water.
It is a real estate company. Why hasn't the world realized this
You’re absolutely right and many have picked up on this. Also, many of these large office buildings in major cities will begin offering the same services in house. There are already buildings being built out this way and that is the hope for these buildings if the company craters.

I’ve been to Regis owned spaces for work, but it was a work from home guy who just needed a meeting space for a few hours.
I guess I understand the concept of renting out a conference room for a few hours for a meeting. I thought the appeal of working from home was actually working from home.
