From the video I’ve seen going around it looks like something eventually stops the truck, police pull the drivers door open, he takes a shot at police, and police shoot and I’m assuming kill the driver.

Texas plates, flag on the back of the truck, unconfirmed reports that the driver was hauling arse on the sidewalk.
Definitely starting to feel more intentional and less random drunk plows through crowd.

I agree, but it’s just wild to imagine a terror attack so close to home. Guess if it can happen at a Christmas parade in Wisconsin it can certainly happen in New Orleans.
