Shockingly new people do join websites.

And you RA’d because I questioned your religion.

What can’t the brilliant people engineer a craft to send man to the moon?

Nasa admits it can’t do it currently.

Also they never said they couldn't engineer a new craft to go to the moon.

Why would you reject something with so much fear when it’s actually openly true?

*And you are incorrect. They have openly said they cannot recreate the tech to send man to the moon. They admit it was destroyed and they lack the ability to do it. This isn’t debatable, I’m sorry.

No, you moron. It's a way to shield the sun from us and our greenhouse gases.

On a tangent does anyone else think L1, L2, and L3 should be Euler points instead of Lagrange?

You know Chrysler doesn't possess the knowledge to build a turbine powered car.

They built one in the 60s though.

It's already traveled 575,000 miles from earth in 10 days. That blows my mind.

Same with the fact that the warm, sunny side of the craft is 138 degrees while the dark side is -208 degrees. 346 degrees farenheit difference between the light and dark sides of the Webb

The temperature difference from the "Hot Side" to the "Cold Side" is kind of mind blowing:

What's blowing my mind is how far out there this thing is going to orbit. It's going to orbit almost four times further away than the moon at 1,500,000 km. For reference the Hubble orbited at 570km

Also, I guess that's why if something goes haywire with this there's nothing we can do.

Do you have the slightest clue how poor of an analogy that is?

Keeping the hot side hot and the cold side cold, for only $1.95...

I get zero comfort knowing NASA can or can't put a man on the moon.

You're kind of coming off like a college freshman who found out about Nikola Tesla for the first time.

Great, we needed more annoying and weird fricking trolls on this site. There was a real shortage there for a while.

Only thing that could've made it more painfully accurate was if Chrysler had been out of business for 24.5 years, like McDonnell Douglas.

Same. Does he think if NASA was to attempt another moon landing the technology they would use would be the same they used in the 60s? You cant just swap parts in and out, you have to start over.

He should probably give his mom her cell phone back

Hey dude. Don’t ruin legit threads that people are excited about with your shtick.

You made a thread on the topic. If you’d like to continue talking about it, bump that thread of make another on a similar topic.

Have some common decency and don’t ruin things for others.

Fun fact: There are more satellites looking at the Earth than looking into space.

Because of the spying.

It’s not an accurate analogy in the slightest.

And your add-on about being out of business for 24.5 years only adds to the confusion of this attempt.

You understand nasa admits it has lost the technology and currently cannot figure out how to send a man to the moon. It cannot build in 2022 what it allegedly built in the 1960s.

This has in fact 0% relation to a car company who doesn’t currently build an engine that didn’t pass gov’t regulation among other prohibiting factors.

No one has said they’d be using the exact same 1:1 tech and materials as the 1960s.

Clearly you’re not versed on some of this nasa truth stuff.

Nasa admits they couldn’t, with new or old ways, send a man to the moon right now. They don’t know how it could be done.
