This is what is actually written at your link
quote:

Lutnick denied in his confirmation hearing that he would seek to dismantle or privatize NOAA as Commerce secretary. However, Project 2025, the sweeping conservative governance blueprint published by the Heritage Foundation, calls for such a move, and associates of tech billionaire Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) were reportedly present at NOAA facilities earlier this month.

President Trump distanced himself from Project 2025 on the campaign trail but has appointed multiple figures associated with it since taking office, including White House budget director Russell Vought and Kathleen Sgamma, his nominee to lead the Bureau of Land Management.

DOGE is going everywhere so if it true that they went to NOAA that’s no surprise at all. Cuts are coming from everywhere which is also no surprise.

As for your words there is nothing about following project 2025 to a “T”.

Trump “distanced” himself basically by just pointing out he had his own detailed plan when the liberal media both exaggerated what is in project 2025 and even worse implied that it was Trump’s plan (explicitly said it was his in some cases). He would point out his plan on his campaign website.

As for your words there is nothing in article about denying knowing about project 2025.

There was also not a denial about knowing what project 2025 was outside of maybe saying Trump’s plan was put together before ever hearing about Project 2025 or saying that he didn’t know the details of project2025 (because he had his own plan to push and wasn’t campaigning against the heritage foundation). Trump owned his 47 plan, wanted people to know it, and that it was his plan.

Taking cross over points of 2 basic conservative viewpoints or plans to act like one is copying the other and then lying about doing so is elementary school age logic.

Also, read every word of project 2025 and do not go by what some tool of the left says it says to make Dem campaign talking points on social media.

Didn’t NOAA falsify data in order to promote global warming?

Iirc, there was even an email trail.

How dare you!

As soon as we can get Trump to approve her visa, problem solved.

OJ wasn't guilty, either, I suppose.

Weak attempt by you as usual.

Prove the affiliation for us.

Here is some help on the word affiliated.

before his death John Coleman, co-founder of TWC, was also very vocal about the skewed climate change data.

You are pushing the lie that Project 2025 is Trump’s. There will be similar ideas as happens with Dems and think tanks on the left, but in this specific case the left has to get the it’s Trump’s Project 2025 dick out of their mouths. It didn’t work in November, and Dems approval rating percentages have dropped into the 20s because they keep doing what didn’t work.

Trump appointed the author of project 2025 to the head of OMB.

Do we really need 1000 meteorologists watching satellite footage of a hurricane and telling us where it's going? Am I wrong in my thinking that they all really on computer models these days?

Also, what is the adweek website as far as being a news site, and where in the adweek article or where in the actual tweet by Spann is the 33% cut mentioned?

Hint: 33% is not mentions in either one.

He was 1 of 38 people who helped develop project 2025, and he was not officially part of Trump’s campaign. He was not “the author” of the project like you are implying.

He worked under Trump’s first administration at the OMB starting in 2017 before working at Heritage, so having some similar philosophies and ideas would make sense. It’s also likely he and Trump have beliefs that do not align including abortion (or at least Heritage’s views on abortion not sure what Vought’s views are).

It would also make sense that Trump would hire people from Heritage and other conservative think tanks just like liberal and leftist think tanks put out plans that share a lot in common with Dem nominees and get hired by Dem presidents. I know no one knows who was running Biden’s administration, but Trump is not a corpse like Biden and is in charge not a think tank or a hidden oligarchy like under Biden.

Only the left, The Guardian, the New Republic, and Wikipedo think heritage and its plan are far-right, and that’s because of how far left they have shifted. Even one of Wiki’s founders says Wiki has shifted far left and a long way from its beginning goals of staying neutral. True liberals know it’s not far-right but will still use the ignorance of their rank and file for political gain.

Everything I can find online suggests that the major cuts to NOAA are hearsay and loosely based on Project 2025 which is not Trump-affiliated. Maybe the cuts being whispered about won’t happen. Can you link an article that quotes these numbers from a direct Trump admin or DOGE source?

Honestly you could probably cut 33%+ just by getting rid of all the "climate change" BS they are involved in, and nobody in the public would even notice a difference in the day-to-day things they do.
