A young lady was killed on her way to graduation practice at Jackson Academy. She hit an open manhole cover that had recently been "repaired" and her car flipped.

At 9:30 a.m., another vehicle hit the same spot and it took out two tires. The police came out, a tow truck came out and nothing was done.

At 11:30 a.m., a 911 call was placed, telling the dispatcher that this was a problem and it was going to cause a wreck.

At 11:55, a second 911 call was placed, informing the city of the issue.

Yesterday afternoon, this accident happened.

At least there is a barricade there now.

Someone added a sign

Horrible infrastructure is a problem in many cities. Too much money is being wasted on studies, welfare, failing programs, etc.

Here’s my question, how fast was she going for this to flip her car on its roof?

Also I’m struggling to figure out how this kills a person. Was she not wearing a seat belt?

Anyways... family ought to sue Jackson for what little money it has.

With all due respect, an unbolted/missing manhole cover is not an infrastructure issue. It may be a negligence issue of a city employee, but that’s not infrastructure. They should have, however, corrected the problem immediately upon knowing about it.

I do have similar questions about how fast she must have been going to flip when hitting an open manhole cover.

The leadership there has been talking about their dream of a new African republic since Lumumbe’s dad was still around.

Well, the roads are shite, the water service isn’t dependable, and the value on human life is zero. Mission accomplished!

Edit: Girl goes over open manhole, car swerves, she overcorrects and rolls car.

I wonder what the racial markup of Jackson is and what the racial a.m. Kip of the city employees are?

Jackson has about 180k residents, and I believe over 80% of them are black.

Mazda convertible. Low built. Top down. Wheel somehow got stuck. Car flipped. A block from my house. Just awful. People called all morning on that manhole. Police came out, did nothing. Should've blocked it and called public works. Too much trouble for it.

Jackson is going to have neighborhood warlords before too long with the way it’s going.
