I bet Tiger will be bidding.
I am almost willing to bet that he wins it at around 25 million. It would be good for his image rebuild to go big on something like that to charity.

Would be cool if Tiger bought it and flipped it in a couple of years for his foundation.
Rolex will probably buy it though

It is a very nice 1803 and given the amount of wear has some stories to tell.
I doubt it will bring more than Paul Newman's Daytona but it depends on who is bidding. If it is mainly watch people it won't bring as much the PN Daytona has been iconic in the watch community for years, JN's Day-Date not nearly so much. The white whale Day-Date is probably Ali's which could almost certainly eclipse the PN Daytona. It will be interesting to watch though, the fact he wore it daily compared to the PN Daytona may make the difference.
A bit of trivia for those that care, the watch retailed for ~$300 when Rolex gave it to him in 1967. They gave it to him for attending a cocktail party.

No shite.
I don't like a gold watch, but I'd get over it.
Auction is a good idea though.

That thing might bring 50M or more.

That’s going to fetch a lot of money. I would have thought he would want one of his kids to have it though

En route to Columbus. I’ll try to snap a pic if I can
