Almost as dumb as the guy who bought a book on how to scam people and never got it.

Here’s the number one take away:
1. Make your coffee at home
Find a mundane task that people don't like to do, and then offer that service for a nominal fee.
An initial concept for affluent areas would be a service that segregates trash into the different recycling categories.

People who like Folgers probably eat at Red Lobster or Olive Garden for their nice weekend meals

Wish I could. Time is money when I'm raising three kids alone. Gotta stick to an 8-5 so I can be there for them.

Cut the cord. Replace with 31 different subscription services.
I did this and it’s great. You spend $5 here, $7 there and actually have no fricking clue what all you’re subscribed to after a while. Out of sight, out of mind.

Saying Folger's is better than Starbucks=/= Folger's is the best.
It simply means compared to Starbukcs burnt-to-a-crisp flavor, Folger's is superior.
Coffee snobs are just a hair worse than craft beer snobs.

There's a King of the Hill episode on that.

Or the one that instead of buying a new $40,000 car, buy a used one with low miles for $5000. Pretty easy to find.
Posted on 3/2/23 at 12:31 pm to rickgrimes
I do but not because it saves money, because my home made coffee at a tenth of the cost of Starbucks is 10 times better.

Well, it means that you have shitty tastes. And how many times does it have to be pointed out to you people that Starbucks has multiple roasts. The dumb "burnt" comments are a remnant of the late 1990s.

It's a real problem and a big part of what a lot of those companies bank on. We put an annual review in place. Basically our spring cleaning now includes actually cleaning the house and getting it all ready for summer, changing batteries, etc and scrubbing out subscription and fees.

Are you a self-starter? If so I have an interesting business opportunity with great potential and I am looking for a serious partner to expand this business. Is there a time we can sit down and discuss it?
I just invested my last bit of capital with a Nigerian prince. After this pay off, I'll reach out!

Damn. Here's to you
I have two and I'm not sure what I would do if it was just me on my own raising them. I'd make it work, but I can't begin to imagine how rough it would get at times.

Investing in the lives of your children is always a win in my book!
